Cables corkscrew in one of my speakers is vibrating against the Speaker Cone cause distortions. Need advice?
I need advice on resolving this problem. The distortion of speakers (subwoofer) is terrible. Can anyone help?
Are you absolutely sure the cable is wound and not some other cause? Rarely braids connecting the coil in the cone time to communicate with the chassis or the cone itself. One thing to do is to test the speaker with a different font, a stereo from a friend, perhaps, or simply exchange fora your system to see if the movements of distortion with the speaker to reject the system as the cause. If the distortion remains the user, then the rest of your system is probably not the cause. If you are absolutely sure that the floor and no defects, like a tear in the cone, you can try Nailpolish plain. This is not conductive when dry and provide a reinforcement much like Hairspray is the hair. Painting on the Nailpolish and bend the wire outside the cone, while dry, so dry enameled wire held in a different position. You need a little. Too much and become rock lasts. Its purpose is to strengthen the chain that holds a different position and responds to vibrations differently today. This is a last resort. Make sure there is no defect in the speaker or system. So you know ... Most times I heard about the distortion in a system that was because he was upset by what the cone was to stop at the limit of travel. Activation the power of the enclosure should be twice the Power Amplifier to avoid overload of the speaker and the functioning of the coil at each stop. The reason the 2nd most frequent was the amplifier that saturates the signal is cut when it reaches maximum power at the final stage can handle. The 3rd most common is to saturate the line input of the amp with something like as the headphone jack on a CD or MP3 player. Line Inputs (also called AUX) are standardized to accept a relatively low signal level is not sufficient to drive a pair of headphones. If you turn the Volume Control your CD or MP3 player too high, you distort the right of the input signal line which is then amplified as everything else.
Tyler Acoustics Speaker Review D4M remember reading in Stereophile a letter several years ago from a reader complaining of a Journal of the lack of review coverage against certain manufacturers of loudspeaker. One of the names mentioned WAS Tyler Acoustics, a team who was aware of myself. For some reason the letter was etched in my memory, and I am here, in an unexpected situation to shed light on This very ...
