Collection of Vintage Speakers?

I have a Big credens 1970 Heathkit. I think wood refinishing to introduce the 21st century. The speakers great, so I can not erase, just retrieve the date and covering golden brown. What type of material I need and how to overcome this unit? So what is the best paint for wood finishes go. Thank you, this is a great project.

Radio Shack sells a cheap cover speaker Fabric is black. Not necessarily to use their equipment, but is very porous. You may have to remove the existing forums, the Speaker of the House panel, then the fabric is mounted on this panel. Try gently speakers and they should be good because the panel is unscrewed and replaced after the beech finish with new tissue. As for painting on wood, just remember to take the sand from existing timber of a group, to get rid of the brightness, so that the paint will adhere properly. I think one oil-based paint would be best, but I am not an expert in painting. Ask one of the guys in the paint store, which should be able to advise you. And more sand .... it a lot!
