Recommended 12AX7 tube (valve) Hartke 3500 head?

I try to change the stock Sovtek but sought views on the issue. I play a Hartke 3500 (hybrid tube Solid State). Population uses a 12AX7 Preamp Tube. I play through an Ampeg SVT 410HLF cab so that any tube may help approaching that your SVT Classic all tubes would be great (I know I'm dreaming). Anyway, I mostly play with a pick. I love Carlos Dengler (Interpol) Peter Hook, Simon Gallop and Andy Rourke (The Smiths).
