Mavrick 88, flavor, no security lock cross?

I took what I thought was to ensure that 88 yesterday at mavrick a gunshow in TN. The barrel is 18.5 inches and is 5 in the tube magazine. Marked as mavrick house, NIB, but once I got it and I started watching, I realized that it is satisfied Tang, and although the bolt mavrick have a tail? Is this something new mavrick you doing?
