Tube Rectifier
Tube Rectifier

Best battery for my style of music?
Basically, I'm in a band and I use a Line 6 Spider III 75W combo, and I am looking to obtain a half-moon battery. I want a battery tube that can emit a sound like the tone of the guitar in this song (my group): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO_KXa8aXo4. I'm considering: Mesa / Boogie Dual Rectifier, Marshall and Modern Age 2466, but feel free to recommend other amplifiers. PS: For the record the song a lot and gain compression is in the tone of guitar that was not supposed to be there, but it is close to the tone I want. Also, before you give me an answer like: "Do not make a 100W head, it sounds good" or "Marshall sucks!" My group goes on tour soon and I just want the answers help. Thank you in advance!
You know, you really need a section of guitar, or something, because it is difficult for people to come here and see all these posts about Taylor Swift and Jonas Bros, then have one guitar gear ... should not be grouped. In any case, Marshall again in fact suck. They are not well built, and you can find better than this for the price you pay. 100 watts is a great power. Trust me. Medium gigs I play with my Mesa, and is only a maximum of 85 watts. I arrived at about 3 on the master volume ... and if you know nothing about a Tube Amp, you know, to get the sweet tone of a valve amplifier, need food tube overdrive, what happens when you start to hit the maximum volume. Most Tube Amps 100 watts are expected to play places great hall. Another thing, most places will mic your amp, so I you really do not want 100 watts. There are, however, things that you can buy called attenuators, or hot dishes. THD is a good one. I began to use mines, but they distort the clean channel a little. Now, for amplifiers. In this recording, it sounds like you have your typical British ... which is a shadow of my favorites, but I think it was more to do. Marshall can get muddy. A better alternative would be Orange Amps. These things are deadly ... I want say, seriously. This is probably one of the best companies Ampere you can go with. Out of a group called The Bronx, and see if you love the tone. I think they are sponsored by them. Now, if you really want the name Marshall, I suggest an older model. The JCM800 is an amplifier high, but the 80 versions are supposed to be better than new ones, which have limits of different parties. This model is also a typical "metal" amp. The JCM900 is great, but only at high volumes. I played two amps. I used the 800 for information on my demo tapes, and I played with a guy who had 900. The 900 was so freaking horrible people in low volume, as Marshall's trash ... It is because they understand they have to turn that up to 10 to get a good sound. At 10 years old, which sounded Very Good, but my ears started to bleed and I almost kicked the back of a neighbor. If you can find a JCM900 which is 50 watts, then get it, cuz the 100 is too high ... to Unless you go play in a stadium instead of celebration. Small clubs / bars, and even medium-sized places, not necessary. Then, the Mesa Boogie Dual. It's a Great Sound ... but not for you. This amplifier is typically a modern metal sound. Overused in music today. Clean channel has also awful. What I like about these amps is that you can pull the two outer tubes and make it a 50 watt amp for small clubs. This is a great feature to have ... but it is a more American sound of the modern type, and not to produce that sound recording. --- Try rectifiers Although dual outside. You may find that improving the tone of your life. The rectifiers are individual trash but did not characteristics that are twice as large rectifiers. Triple rectifiers are stupid. So many people buy and try to change the CRE double. They are only voice to high metal bands to play at A or B, where the bottom is necessary. Here is the amplifier that I have. I have a Mesa MKIV, which is 85 watts, but there is a switch to move from 85 to 70, 50 and 35. Now that's freaking awesome. You just go with the Office mkv which is the same thing. --- Now My own amp is better than the rectifier, but it has more of a classic 90-tone metal. Think of your Master of Puppets Metallica years ... In fact, amp they used at the time, so obviously it will ring. --- Secondly, this amplifier can have 2 of the 4 tubes replaced with EL34 6L6 instead of giving it more of a British tone. I just put in a few weeks. It makes a difference in tone, and I prefer, but It is not classic Marshall. I think of it as a combination of both. It's like a Marshall tone, but is taller and bigger than it looks. --- It is regarded as the Mk IV or V, tube amps are more versatile on the market, what I have. It is a sort of Jack of All Trades Amps .... common to many different genres or styles. Finally, we must also think of the speakers. You do not need a full stack. An average battery is good. Many people will say you need not loudspeakers, and it makes no difference, but when you go from 1 speaker 4 is a big difference. Now, if you play a bar or club, with two cabins is not necessary at all. I have a Diezel 4x12, which is quite nice. (oh, if the price is not a problem, then extract the Diezel amps ... They are like $ 4000 though.) Also runs an Office 2x12 with V30. In addition, the spider amplifier 75 watts which is not a tube amp. Tube amps are much more amplifier Solid State. I had a spider 150 watts and was not strong enough to play over 100 watts of tube to half volume.
