What does "transcription" means, in speaking of turntables (decks)?
What does "transcription" means when talking about record players (turntables)? Thank you
They are made to play 15-Inch Records largely conducted in the 1940s and 1950s for radio stations, The term seems to apply also to tables that provide multiple speeds - for example, my Thorens TD-124 (the Original Owner, the manual says it is a turning point of transcription)
