Is there anyway I can make money off of old film reels?
My economics teacher wants to unload about 50 vintage educational film reels on me. I used to work at a movie theater and I heard of people being able to sell film so it can get burnt down and used as film stock. I really have no use for any of these films. I tried searching on ebay and couldn't find anyone selling anything like what I have. Anyone have any knowledge to share?
You can't recycle film- once the silver has oxidized- its wasted- you could try selling (or more likely donating) it to a film archive or stock footage company.
