2003-2004 svt cobra question?

I'm in the process of getting a car in the next couple of months and I'm wondering how the cobra performs. I know that mustang's handling doesn't handle that well, will buying Eibach pro-kit springs and Tokico D-Spec Adjustable Strut & Shock Kit help? what other mods will get the cobra to handle well ?

IF I DECIDE TO GET THE COBRA I plan on making this a fast car what mods should i buy ? no s/c or turbo yet.
i planned on buying
+BBK twin 65mm throttle
+BBK cold air intake
+BBK 1-5/8 headers
+BBK X uncatted
+SCT & 3.73 gears
+steeda pulley + belt 2.81
+nitto tires
what other mods can i do to get more out of the car?

btw, can you see out of the louvers ? how much visibility is reduce ?

what i met by s/c is upgrading it to a whipple or k/b

.....cobra performance is outstanding and a blast to drive. my car has outrun an M3 and modified audi on steep hill climb.
power delivery is Very Good - handlingwith a little work great for the street.

1st of all go to SVTperformance.com they have an owner's forum dedicated to terminators (03/04 cobra) and a full FAQ on the cobra

2)because they are (the only mustang) with IRS the handling is good.
lowered on eibach pro springs helps - best is stiffening the chassis with full length sub chassis connectors (welded, not bolted in).

3)CAI is good, as is aftermarket exhaust, better sound for a cobra is magnaflow or bassani

4)cobra stock headers are actually pretty decent and installing aftermarket headers will NOT give you horsepower rewards in return for huge expense....recommend against!

5)stock supercharger responds well to smaller upper/bigger lower pulley plus porting (and there is a company that specializes in porting the cobra superchargers....price is reasonable) and that will get you into range of 500hp plus at the wheels

6)fuel rails, 60lb injectors and twin screw (kenne bel or whipple) 2.3 or 2.5 supercharger running 15-20 p.s.i. boost will get to 575-to easily over 625rwHP.
bigger boost or bigger supercharger will of course get you incremental power.
all depends what you want - street or track performance....stock internals in the cobra engine are good to plus 700rwHP.

7)if you do big increase in power - whether you use SCT or diablo predator best to have it pro tuned. also watch your supercharger boost levels to make sure you can get adequate heat protection from the octane levels available in your area (buying octane enhancer is expensive!!).

8)if you do big power add, you have to enhance the clutch...centerforce dfx or better yet a mcleod dual disc.
additionally - while the stock transmission is excellent - it had a spline weakness, make sure the cobra you buy has had it corrected-or make sure to correct it before adding a lot of jjump juice.

9)nitto's are good as are michelin pilots....3.73 gears are fine - DO A Short throw shifter....cheap and makes going thru the gears much faster.

great cars, strong engines, lots of mods available, extremely fast

cheers, 04 cobra (2.3 whipple blower@15p.s.i., magnaflow-catbacks/x-pipe, CAI, 60lb.injectors, fuel rails, BAP, MAFia, centerforcedfx, suspension, chassis work, on a dyno at 575rwHP)
