Low Power Supply and high profile video card?
Is there any chance to buy video card that require 500W and instal in one of HP elites with 350W supply. Would MoBo burn or comp. just wouldnt start or what would happend?
Your motherboard wouldn't burn...initially. But your power supply would be overtaxed significantly. It might work initially but it would overheat, and either die gracefully, die in a puff of smoke, ball of fire, or a giant blue electric flash.
Either get a video card that doesn't need so much power or just buy a 500W power supply. The PSU in your computer is already a low end crappy brand, so a similar replacement wouldn't cost that much.
