A question on HF antennas (Calling all ham)?

Ive look at some ideas for a simple low-gain antenna HF ..... A / 4 wave with a monopoly or a radial pattern dipole fourth wave (I have lots of space )........ Im gonna run around 100 watts in a transmitter Old Heathkit tube 28 MHz (only 28 because I am a technician so I have nothing in the range of 29 MHz )......... My question is which antenna is the best for my application (I'm thinking mid-range communication and DX, and 10 meters is not popular in my area )...... . I have another question ..... I have a CB antenna loaded ..... his way to a few meters as in charge of the fourth wave ...... because the frequencies are close to the frequencies ter 10 meters I'm going running, I was curious about the functioning of the CB antenna on amateur frequencies ..... I know that his performance would suffer just because it is not synchronized with the 10 meter band (and I do not want to change )...... Is it possible?

Yes, you can use an antenna on 10m 11m unmodified .... the game was released, perhaps VSWR 2.5:1, but 3:1 is acceptable while. 1:1 is better and it is rarely possible (and, being given that the radio is 50 ohms, the power line is 52 or 53 ohms and the antenna is 35-75 ohms).
