an old surround sound system with a new TV?

I have an old surround sound system, but I have a vizio tv news. IT looks to the Stereo Receiver is not compatible with your TV, because the receiver is equipped with inputs on the back assuming your TV has outputs on the back of it, but not mine. how it would work that television is sending information via audio outputs, and the receiver (being the proper name) has sent this information through the Speaker Cable speaker located strategically placed in positions around the room. but since my TV is so new and fresh for the wiring of the old school, not opportunities to connect me a. You're right, unless you want to use the headset with a Mini to RCA use one of the entries in the realist. It is their only option. Or get a new receiver
