Why does my TV keep closing?

My RCA Scenium 65 "Projection TV remains closed on me. It will run for about 5 minutes, then starts all power to the unit. and resume after shutdown. To do this, about 3 times before they stay down. It started happening about 1 month. I hope that everything inside the TV and the problem disappeared for about 1 month, is now back. Nothing we will keep running. I live about 450 km from the repair man. Suggestions?
