How can I increase my power?

I have a 12V DC 100mA linear power governed by a single TO-92 transistor as regulator. I need twice the Power Output of 200 mA. The processor can handle this, but the regulator transistor is only valid for 100 mA. Can I connect a transistor similar to that in parallel to increase power?

done with a device called LM7812. This is a 12 V regulator cabable 1000mA delivery. Its abundant and cheap.
