Is it acceptable to drive with aftermarket wheels using wheel adapters?

im asking about wheel adapters, because the spacing legs of my tires and my car is 5x110 pin spacing is 5x114. so that the adapter is attached to the wheel lug my car axles and wheels are bolted adapter. nobody has a problem with that? Edit: besides its only a few millimeters. Adapter they were about $ 135, and about 3 / 4 inch thick. My car is a 2005 Solara, its pretty pointless to do a conversion on a new car.

Why not just do the conversion done? Its safer and effective way to improve the wheel. If your car does not aftermarket wheels so do not use an adapter. Who deals with cases of disaster written all over. Stop being cheap and get the conversion done.
