Speaker Cable Tube
basic Guitar Amp setup!?

hey, ive been playing guitar for about 6 years, but im just now getting a band started and using a half stack. so i need to know how to set it up so that it will sound its best/loudest, and what kind of cables to use because im afraid i'll blow the speaker if i plug something in where its not supposed to be!

the amp i have is of the epiphone triggerman line:

the head is-Epiphone Triggerman 100H DSP-100 watts w/ tube tone circuitry

the cab: epiphone triggerman line

-280 W handling

heres a link to the cab on musiciansfriend- http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Triggerman-Guitar-Speaker-Cabinet?sku=601611&src=3SOSWXXA

heres a link to the head- http://www.axetopia.com/items/Epiphone/EPIEPADR100HDSP.htm

really im just worried i'll mess something up with the set up! help me out!

I understand you don't want to mess anything up...I think I can help.
First you need to buy a Speaker Cable (not an instrument cable) they look a lot like a guitar cable (they have 1/4" ends and the cable itself looks similar) but you need to go onto musician's friend or guitar center online and buy a 2 or 3 foot speaker cable. Then from the "loudspeaker out" of the amp you need to plug into the 4 ohm jack and make sure that little switch is set to MONO. I think you should be set. That cab was made for that amp, so I don't see there being any kind of problem.

Good Luck
